SNACKS/LUNCH

Please send a lunch/snack each day your child visits our Parents Morning Out. There will be no sharing of food between children. Please provide a ‘Sippy Cup’ for your child, if necessary.

❖ If you wish to bring in snacks for your child’s class for a special day (Christmas, birthday, etc.) please contact the Director at least two days in advance to check with allergy concerns. All special snacks must be store bought with allergen labels printed on the package.

OTHER ITEMS TO BRING/Not to Bring

We ask that you LABEL EVERYTHING, including diaper bags, sippy cups, bottles, pacifiers, and all other belongings. Please provide diapers, pacifiers, and other necessary items your child will need, along with any special instructions. Unless there is a necessary ‘comfort’ item that your child must have, please avoid bringing personal items or toys that may get lost or mixed in with items already in the room.

WELL CHILD POLICY, CLEANLINESS

Our church takes special care to provide a safe, clean environment for preschoolers. The housekeeping staff and teachers clean and disinfect the surfaces in our preschool rooms. We are committed to limiting the spread of sickness from child to child. For the protection of our preschoolers, we ask that parents adhere to these guidelines when determining if you should bring your child to Parent’s Morning Out.

A well child has:

  • -No fever over 99.5, currently or for the past 24 hours.
  • -No vomiting or diarrhea currently or for the past 24 hours.
  • -No runny nose that is thick or dark colored.
  • -No severe, persistent coughing.
  • -No unexplained rashes or skin infections/conditions, without a doctor’s note.
  • -No eye infections of any kind.
  • -No childhood diseases such as chicken pox, etc. that could be contagious.
  • -No head lice.

If a child has any of the above symptoms, or if you are in doubt, please stay home and give us a call. If a child develops any of these symptoms while in our care, the parent will be asked to promptly pick them up from our care.
