Volunteer for Praise & Worship Team

If you sing or play an instrument and love contemporary worship music, you may be a good fit for the praise team! Praise team practice is every Thursday 5:30 PM and mic check is 7:30 AM to serve at the 8:45 service. To schedule an audition, please email carlor@trinityjaxnc.church

Volunteer Usher Opportunity

Help serve our hospitality team by serving as an usher! Ushers help track attendance, receive offerings, and assist people as they come into the church. Serve during the service you attend. This opportunity does require coming to the church prior to the service and and staying for a few moments after. Adults are preferred for this position.

Greeters Volunteers Needed

If you are looking for an easy job that makes a big impact, we invite you to serve as a greeter! Greeters are the first introduction many of our visitors have when they enter the church! Duties including passing out bulletins, handing out visitor bags, and directing newcomers and church members to Sunday School classes, restrooms, and check in. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to be a welcoming face! Serve at the service of your choice and rotate with the rest of the hospitality team!

Nursery Volunteers

We are proud of our nursery and the loving caregivers who serve the youngest members of our congregation. If you would like to join the Nursery team, please email nursery@trinityjaxnc.church. All nursery staff and volunteers are required to pass a background check, CPR training, and MinistrySafe training before they are allowed in the Nursery area.

Communion Servers

Be a part of a special moment each month by serving communion! No ordination or prior experience is needed for this area. This is a once a month commitment with the flexibility to serve at the service of your choice, with no requirement to arrive to church early or stay late. Servers will need to be able to stand for 10 minutes and hold either of the elements.

Children's Ministry

If you love to serve with Children, share the gospel, and have lots of fun, serving with the Children's Ministry may be the place for you! This ministry serves Kindergarten to 5th graders for Sunday school, VBS, and Kidsplace. We need volunteers in all areas, so feel free to reach out and find the space that would be right for you! All volunteers must submit to a background check, MinistrySafe training, and CPR training.
