Amanda LaPorte was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the United States after graduating with a degree in Public Policy Management to study English. While living in Massachusetts, she met her husband, and they later moved to Vermont, where she worked as the coordinator of an afterschool program. In the summer of 2024, they felt led to move to Jacksonville, North Carolina, where they now live with their family. Amanda loves the Lord, values time with her family, and enjoys writing. She is grateful to serve and be part of a church community.
